Can PawAura predict my dog's seizures? +

No, and it never will. Predicting seizures from a diary is not supported by the evidence and can give dangerous false reassurance. The Seizure Fingerprint only describes patterns from your past logs, always in the past tense.

Is PawAura free? +

Logging seizures, the diary, CSV export and reminders for two medications are free forever. Pro ($5.99/month or $29.99/year, with a 7-day free trial) adds the Fingerprint insights, the crisis system, unlimited meds and blood levels, and the AI vet brief.

Is PawAura veterinary advice? +

No. PawAura surfaces your own logged data. Diagnosis, medication and dose decisions belong to your vet. A seizure over five minutes may be an emergency - contact your vet or an emergency clinic.

Is PawAura available yet? +

Yes. PawAura is on the App Store now, released on 19 July 2026. It is a free download.

How long is too long for a dog seizure? +

A seizure lasting more than five minutes is a medical emergency, as is a series of seizures where your dog does not fully recover consciousness in between. Contact your vet or an emergency clinic immediately in either case.

What are cluster seizures in dogs? +

Two or more seizures within 24 hours. Clusters are managed differently from isolated seizures, which is why they need recording explicitly as a cluster rather than as separate unlinked events.

What should I record after my dog has a seizure? +

Date and time, how long the seizure itself lasted, whether it was single or part of a cluster, what your dog was doing beforehand, how long recovery took, and any medication given. The pattern over months is what changes treatment.
