Subscriptions & billing

PawAura is free to start, with an optional PawAura Pro subscription. The available plans are:

PawAura Pro Monthly - $5.99/month, with a 7-day free trial
PawAura Pro Yearly - $29.99/year, with a 7-day free trial

The free tier includes unlimited seizure logging with video, the diary, CSV export and reminders for two medications. Pro unlocks the Seizure Fingerprint, the crisis-ready system, unlimited medications and blood levels, trends and the AI brief.

Where to find Pro in the app: Tap any locked insight or the Upgrade prompt (for example on the Fingerprint or crisis screens) to open the subscription screen with the Monthly and Yearly options.

Manage or cancel your subscription

Restore a purchase (e.g. on a new device): open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the Apple ID you subscribed with.

All payments and renewals are handled by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Logging a seizure

From the home screen, tap the full-width SEIZURE button. The timer and camera start together; the timer shows a colour threshold (amber past 2 minutes, red past 5) with your saved vet or ER number one tap away. It auto-saves a draft instantly, even if the phone locks or a call interrupts - you can add details afterwards.

The Seizure Fingerprint

The Fingerprint describes signs that have often come before past seizures, drawn from your own logs and always in the past tense. It is a look back, not a forecast - PawAura never predicts seizures.

Videos & your data

Seizure videos are stored only on your device and are never uploaded. Everything else syncs through your own private iCloud (CloudKit), and CSV export is always free. To erase everything, delete the app and its iCloud data. See our Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting

The AI brief will not generate

Brief generation needs an internet connection and Sign in with Apple. If you have already generated one this calendar month, the next becomes available next month.

The camera won't record during a seizure

Allow camera access in Settings > PawAura. The timer still runs and auto-saves even without video.

My data is not syncing between devices

Make sure both devices are signed into the same iCloud account with iCloud Drive on. Seizure videos intentionally do not sync.

I subscribed but Pro is locked

Open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the Apple ID you used to subscribe.
Frequently asked

Can PawAura predict my dog's seizures?

No, and it never will. Predicting seizures from a diary is not supported by the evidence and can give dangerous false reassurance. The Seizure Fingerprint only describes patterns from your past logs.

Is PawAura veterinary advice?

No. PawAura records your own observations and surfaces them. Diagnosis, medication and dose decisions belong to your veterinarian. A seizure over five minutes may be an emergency - contact your vet or an emergency clinic.

What do I need to run PawAura?

An iPhone on iOS 17 or later, and an iCloud account for sync.
