Why Flarewell
Rosacea feels random.
It usually isn't.

"Was it the wine? The sun?"

Flares show up days later, so the real trigger is almost impossible to pin down from memory alone.

FAQ
Good questions,
honest answers
Is Flarewell free? +

Yes - daily logging, automatic weather/UV and your 30-day calendar are free. Premium ($5.99/month or $39.99/year) adds full insights, the unlimited photo timeline and the doctor PDF, starting with a 1-month free trial.

Why does it need my location? +

Only to fetch the current weather and UV index for your area, which are common rosacea triggers. We send just your approximate coordinates to OpenWeather - never your symptoms or photos. You can decline and still use everything else.

Where are my photos stored? +

On your device only, as part of your local log. They're never uploaded to us or anyone else.

Can Flarewell treat rosacea? +

No. It's a personal tracking tool, not a medical device. It helps you find patterns to discuss with your dermatologist.

What do I need to run it? +

An iPhone on iOS 17 or later.

Why does rosacea flare up in the evening? +

The day's triggers accumulate: earlier sun exposure can show up hours later, alcohol and hot food usually arrive at dinner, and skin temperature rises indoors in the evening. The cause is often hours before the flare.

Why is my rosacea worse on one side of my face? +

The most common explanation is asymmetric sun exposure, classically the driver's side through a car window, since side glass blocks less UVA than a windscreen. Sleeping consistently on one cheek is the other frequent cause.

Is dairy bad for rosacea? +

The evidence linking dairy to rosacea is thin, unlike alcohol which is one of the most consistently reported triggers. Some individuals do react, which makes dairy worth testing on its own rather than eliminating on general advice.

Stop guessing.
Start knowing.

Give Flarewell 30 seconds a day and let it find the trigger behind your flare-ups.
