Subscriptions & billing

Flarewell is free to use, with an optional Flarewell Premium subscription. The available plans are:

Flarewell Premium Monthly - $5.99/month, with a 1-month free trial
Flarewell Premium Yearly - $39.99/year

Where to find Flarewell Premium in the app: Open Flarewell and tap any Premium prompt - for example the "Unlock more insights" banner on the Insights tab, or the export button on the Report tab - to open the subscription screen, where you can choose the Monthly or Yearly plan.

Manage or cancel your subscription

Restore a previous purchase (e.g. on a new device)

All payments and renewals are handled by Apple through your Apple ID. Refund requests are also handled by Apple - visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your data & privacy

Your flush logs, symptoms and photos are stored only on your device - there's no account and no analytics. The one exception: your approximate location is sent to OpenWeather to fetch the weather and UV index, never your health data.

To remove your data, simply delete the app from your device. You can also export a PDF of your data from the Report tab. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting

Weather or UV isn't loading

Flarewell needs location access to fetch weather. Go to Settings → Flarewell → Location and set it to "While Using the App", then make sure you have an internet connection.

I can't add a photo

Go to Settings → Flarewell and allow access to Camera and/or Photos.

I subscribed but Premium is locked

Open the Premium screen and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the Apple ID you subscribed with.
Frequently asked

Where do I find the Premium subscription?

Tap any Premium prompt inside the app - on the Insights tab or the Report tab - to open the subscription screen with the Monthly ($5.99) and Yearly ($39.99) options.

Why does Flarewell need my location?

Only to fetch the weather and UV index, which are common rosacea triggers. You can decline and still use the rest of the app.
