FAQ
Good questions,
honest answers
Is PelvicFlow free? +

You can start for free with the assessment, starter exercises and symptom logging. Premium ($7.99/month or $49.99/year) unlocks all five programs, the full 24-exercise library and audio-guided sessions, with a 30-day free trial.

Is it only for women? +

No. PelvicFlow has programs for women and men - including postpartum recovery and post-prostate-surgery recovery.

I have a tight (hypertonic) pelvic floor - is this safe? +

There's a dedicated Relax & Release program for that. Still, pelvic floor training isn't right for everyone - please check with a doctor or pelvic floor physiotherapist before starting, and stop if you feel pain.

Is PelvicFlow a medical device? +

No. It's a guided fitness and education tool, not a medical device, and doesn't diagnose or treat any condition.

What do I need to run it? +

An iPhone on iOS 17 or later.

How do I know if my pelvic floor is weak? +

Common signs are leaking with a cough, sneeze, laugh or exercise, sudden urgency, frequency, a feeling of heaviness or bulging, and reduced sensation. An assessment distinguishes weakness from a pelvic floor that is too tight, which causes overlapping symptoms.

Can kegels make things worse? +

Yes, if the underlying problem is a pelvic floor that is too tight rather than weak. Pain, pain with sex or difficulty emptying are signs to be assessed by a pelvic health physiotherapist before starting a strengthening routine.

How long until kegels work? +

Usually several weeks to a few months of consistent daily practice, not days. Programmes are commonly abandoned at two weeks, which is before meaningful change would be expected.

Stronger,
every session.

Let PelvicFlow guide you through a real program built for your body and your goals.
