By downloading, installing, creating an account in, or using Velora - Food Symptom Diary ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App is operated by Velora Health ("we", "us", "our"). These terms apply to all users of the App and its backend service.
Velora is a wellness and food-diary tool. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, allergy or intolerance.
Velora surfaces statistical correlations found in your own logged data - "suspects" to investigate - and explicitly not causation. Ingredient recognition and trigger labels are AI-generated estimates and may be incomplete or inaccurate; always verify, especially if you have a diagnosed food allergy. Confirm any suspected trigger with a supervised elimination trial, and consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes. Do not rely on Velora for medical decisions or in any emergency.
Cloud analysis requires you to sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Apple ID. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and not to misuse, probe or attempt to disrupt the service.

Premium unlocks: Unlimited AI scans, the full Top Suspects analysis, unlimited history & charts, PDF doctor report and smart reminders
Billing: Charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase
Renewal: Auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Cancellation: Manage or cancel in your Apple ID Account Settings at any time
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The free tier's monthly AI-scan limit resets each billing month; cached (repeated) meals and barcode/text lookups do not count toward it.
You agree not to: use the App for any unlawful purpose; upload content you have no right to; attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload or circumvent usage limits or security (including App Attest); or resell or sublicense the App or its output.
You retain ownership of the data you log. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to operate and improve the service for you (for example, sending a meal photo to our AI providers to identify ingredients), as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App or its AI analysis will be accurate, error-free or uninterrupted, or that any particular result will be achieved.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velora Health shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or health outcomes, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
We may modify these Terms at any time and will update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Velora Health operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
In addition to these Terms, use of the App is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
