How can we help?

Support for Velora - Food Symptom Diary. Most questions are answered below - and you can always email us directly.

Contact support

customer-care@velorahealth.io

Email us about anything - billing, your account, a bug, a feature request, or your data. Please include your device model and iOS version so we can help faster.

We typically reply within 1-2 business days.
Account & sign-in

Velora uses Sign in with Apple for cloud analysis and to sync your history. You can choose "Hide My Email" - we only ever receive an anonymous identifier, never your Apple password. If you're having trouble signing in, make sure you're signed into iCloud on your device and try again, or email us.

Subscriptions & billing

Velora is free to use with an optional Velora Premium subscription. The available plans are:

Velora Premium Monthly - $7.99/month
Velora Premium Yearly - $49.99/year

The free plan includes 15 AI photo scans per month plus unlimited barcode and text logging. Premium removes the scan limit and unlocks the full Top Suspects analysis, unlimited history, the PDF doctor report and smart reminders.

Where to find Premium in the app: open Settings → Premium, or tap any "Upgrade"/crown prompt (for example when you reach your monthly scan limit) to open the subscription screen with the Monthly and Yearly options.

Manage or cancel your subscription

Restore a purchase (e.g. on a new device): open Settings → Premium → Restore purchases while signed in with the Apple ID you subscribed with.

All payments and renewals are handled by Apple. Refunds are also handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Apple Health

Connecting Apple Health is optional. In Settings → Connect Apple Health, Velora can read (read-only) your sleep and cycle data to flag when symptoms may be caused by poor sleep rather than food. To change access later, go to iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Velora. This data is never sold or shared.

Your data & account deletion

Your meals, symptoms and context are tied to your account and stored securely. Meal photos are analysed for ingredients and then discarded - we don't keep your images. To erase everything from our servers, open Settings → Delete account; deleting the app also removes the local copy. For full details see our Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting

A meal photo won't analyse

AI photo analysis needs an internet connection. Check you're online and try again. If you've used all 15 free scans this month, use barcode or text logging (both unlimited), or upgrade to Premium for unlimited scans.

My data isn't syncing

Make sure you're signed in (Sign in with Apple) and online. Velora logs offline and uploads automatically when the connection returns.

The ingredients look wrong

AI recognition is an estimate - you can edit or remove any ingredient before saving a meal, and your correction is what gets used in the analysis.

I subscribed but Premium is locked

Open Settings → Premium → Restore purchases while signed in with the Apple ID you used to subscribe.
Frequently asked

Does Velora diagnose food allergies?

No. Velora is a wellness and food-diary tool, not a medical device. It shows correlations (suspects) in your own data, not a diagnosis. Confirm with an elimination trial and consult a clinician before major diet changes.

Are my meal photos stored?

No. Photos are sent for AI ingredient analysis and then discarded - we keep only the ingredient results, not the image.

What do I need to run Velora?

An iPhone on iOS 17 or later, and an internet connection for AI analysis and sync.
