Terms of Use.

Grooved films or imports a single stroke, traces an animated skeleton onto it, and measures how repeatable your swings are over time. It is built for technique and consistency, not for match statistics or line calling.

This matters, so it is stated plainly:

• Grooved is an informational tool. It is not a coach, and it does not replace one.
• Grooved does not tell you whether your technique is right or wrong. It measures and compares. What to change is a decision for you and your coach.
• Grooved's consistency score describes how repeatable your own swings are. It is not a skill level, a ranking, or a rating, and it cannot be converted into one.
• Grooved does not estimate UTR, NTRP, WTN, ITN, or any other rating, and it does not compare you to any named player.
• Grooved is not a medical device and gives no medical, physiotherapy, or injury advice. Tennis carries a risk of injury. Warm up, train sensibly, and see a qualified professional about pain or injury. You use the practice exercises at your own risk.

Grooved reports honest bands and shows its confidence rather than inventing precision. Accuracy depends on your camera angle, lighting, frame rate, and how much of your body is visible.

When footage is too rough to measure reliably, Grooved says so and leaves that session off your trend. That is the intended behaviour, not a failure.

Some things are not measurable from a single side-on camera at all, and Grooved declines to report them rather than guessing. Body rotation in degrees is the main example.

Your videos are yours. They stay on your device, and we claim no rights over them. See the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for having the right to film anyone who appears in your videos, and for complying with the rules of any venue where you film.

Grooved is free to use with limits. Grooved Pro unlocks unlimited analyses, your full history and trends, the before-and-after overlay, per-metric deep dive, and reference comparison. A separate one-time purchase removes the watermark from exported clips.

• Grooved Pro is $6.99 per month or $34.99 per year. Watermark-free export is a $4.99 one-time purchase. Prices may vary by region and are shown in the app before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy. We cannot issue them.

Prices may change. Any change applies only to future periods, and Apple will ask you to confirm before charging a new price.

Do not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute Grooved, and do not use it to harass, surveil, or record anyone without their knowledge.

Grooved is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that measurements will be accurate for every clip, or that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Grooved in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted in the release notes. You may stop using Grooved at any time by deleting it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the developer operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
