Grooved uses Apple's on-device Vision framework to trace a moving skeleton onto your stroke. Scrub it frame by frame with the pose drawn on, or open the contact sheet to see every keyframe at once.

Backswing, contact and follow-through are marked for you, so you can see the exact frame where your form breaks, the one a coach would pause on.

How should I film my swing? +

Film side-on, with the phone at about waist height and your whole body in frame through the full stroke. Good light helps. Grooved analyses the clip on your device and traces the skeleton onto it; if the footage is too rough to measure reliably, it tells you and leaves that session off your trend rather than plotting a number it does not trust.

Is the consistency score a skill rating? +

No. It measures how repeatable your own swings are across a session, charted over time. It is a relative measure of your own repeatability, not a skill level, and it is never converted into one. Grooved does not estimate UTR, NTRP, WTN, ITN or any other rating, and it does not compare you to any named player.

Does my video leave my phone? +

No. Analysis runs entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. There is no upload, no account and no ads. Your videos stay on your phone, and you share a clip only if and when you choose to.
