Measuring questions, a chart that looks wrong, a subscription that will not unlock. The common answers are below, and there is a person behind the email address for everything else.

Getting started

Where should I begin?

Take a baseline measurement on day one, even if it is only the two free points per leg, then let the daily log do the rest. The record you will want in six months is the one that started before you needed it. If you want to see where this leads, open the sample file in Settings and read a finished record before you log anything of your own.
Troubleshooting

My measurements look inconsistent week to week

Legs genuinely change through the day, so timing matters more than technique. Measure first thing in the morning, before your legs have swollen, and never straight after exercise. Use the guided mode so the tape lands on the same point, and keep it snug rather than tight, since pulling it in compresses the tissue and shrinks the number.

The swelling forecast is not appearing

Open Settings, then Forecast and check that you have entered a city name. Willow never reads your device location, so without a city there is nothing to look up. Also confirm notifications are allowed in Settings, then Willow, then Notifications.

My weight is not showing on the divergence chart

Willow reads body weight from Apple Health, read-only. Check Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Health, then Willow and allow body weight. If you would rather not connect Health at all, you can type your weight in manually and the chart works exactly the same.

I subscribed but Pro features are still locked

Open the Willow Pro screen and tap Restore Purchases, and make sure the device is signed in with the Apple Account that made the purchase. If a purchase is still pending with Apple, it unlocks automatically once it clears.

The denial decoder could not read my letter

Photograph the letter flat, in good light, with the whole page in frame. Decoding runs entirely on your device, so a blurry photo has nothing to work with. If Willow cannot identify a denial reason, it tells you so rather than guessing, and you can still add the letter to your records.

My evidence packet says it is not complete

That is deliberate. The packet always exports, but it marks the items that are still missing instead of hiding them, because a packet that looks complete when it is not is worse than no packet. Common gaps are the failed conservative therapy note and the letter of medical necessity, both of which come from your clinician.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting the app removes everything held on the device, including all leg photos. Data synced through your private iCloud is removed through your Apple account. If you signed in for AI reports, email us and we will delete that account record within 30 days.
Good to know

Willow is a tracking and documentation tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, does not give medical advice, and does not determine any insurance outcome. Statements of medical necessity come from your clinician. For urgent symptoms, contact a healthcare professional.
