By downloading, installing, or using PawBeat - Pet Heart Health ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App is operated by Velora Health ("we", "us", "our"). These terms apply to all users of the App.
PawBeat is a pet-care tracking tool. It is not a veterinary device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition in your pet.
Breathing-rate alerts simply compare your own logged readings against the target your veterinarian set; they are data-surfacing, not a diagnosis or a dosing recommendation, and they depend on the accuracy of your readings and settings. The AI brief is a summary of your own logged data for your vet, not veterinary advice. Always follow your veterinarian's guidance, and contact your vet or an emergency clinic immediately if your pet is in distress.
Almost all of PawBeat works without any account. Generating an AI brief uses Sign in with Apple so we can verify the request and apply usage limits. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the brief feature.
Monthly plan: $5.99 USD per month, auto-renewing - with a 7-day free trial
Yearly plan: $29.99 USD per year, auto-renewing - with a 7-day free trial
Free tier: the breathing counter, 1 pet, 30-day basic history and a basic PDF
Pro unlocks: multiple pets, full history and trends, medication and episode management, the clinical report and the AI vet brief
Billing: charged to your Apple ID; manage or cancel in your Apple ID Account Settings
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, after any free trial. Your subscription auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel in your Apple ID Account Settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase. The AI vet brief is limited to one per calendar month.
You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose, to reverse engineer or attempt to extract its source code, to abuse, overload or circumvent usage limits or security, or to resell or sublicense the App.
You own the data you log. It is stored on your device and your private iCloud. Episode videos never leave your device. To generate a vet brief, you authorise us to send a summary of your pet's logged data (never video) to our AI provider solely to produce that brief. See our Privacy Policy for full details. We do not sell your data.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App, its analysis or any AI-generated report will be accurate, complete, error-free or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velora Health shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of data or any pet-health outcome, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
We may modify these Terms at any time and will update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Velora Health operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
In addition to these Terms, use of the App is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
