Terms of Service.

Aura is a private personal log for people managing HSV, including cold sores. It records episodes, shows back the treatment plan you entered, counts patterns from your own log, and holds material to help with disclosure conversations.

Aura is not a medical device and not medical advice. It does not diagnose any condition, does not treat or prevent anything, and never selects a medication, dose or schedule. It reminds you of the plan your own clinician prescribed. Always follow their advice.

Aura makes no claim about transmission risk. Material in the disclosure toolkit is sourced general information for you to discuss with a clinician and a partner, not a promise of any outcome.

Everything stays on your device. We hold no copy, which means we cannot recover your data if you lose the device, and there is no cloud backup. Export your data if you want a copy that survives a lost or reset phone. This is a deliberate design choice and its cost falls on you, so we state it plainly rather than in a footnote.

• The tingle button, your plan, the episode log, the 12-month count and the full disclosure toolkit are free permanently.
• Aura Premium is $3.99 per month or $29.99 per year with a 7-day free trial, and adds full trigger patterns, a before and after view of daily therapy, encrypted photos and the doctor PDF.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Apple handles all payments and refunds under its own terms.

Use Aura for your own health record. Do not present its output as a clinical assessment or as a statement about transmission risk, and do not rely on it in place of medical care.

Aura is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velora Health's total liability for any claim relating to Aura is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, for data lost with a device, or for decisions taken on the basis of app output.

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the app before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Velora Health operates.
