Subscriptions & billing

Aster is free to use, with an optional Aster Premium subscription. The available plans are:

Aster Premium Monthly - $7.99/month
Aster Premium Annual - $49.99/year, with a 30-day free trial

Where to find Aster Premium in the app: Open Aster and tap any Premium prompt - for example on the Insights dashboard or the doctor-report export button - to open the subscription screen with the Monthly and Annual options.

Manage or cancel your subscription

Restore a previous purchase (e.g. on a new device)

All payments and renewals are handled by Apple through your Apple ID. Refund requests are also handled by Apple - visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your data & privacy

Your symptoms and journal are stored only on your device - no account, no servers. With your permission, Aster reads Apple Health metrics, but they're analysed entirely on-device and never transmitted.

To remove your data, simply delete the app from your device. You can revoke Apple Health access anytime in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices. Export a PDF from the report screen. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting

Apple Health data isn't showing

Go to Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Aster and turn on the categories you'd like Aster to read.

My trigger insights are empty

Trigger analysis needs a couple of weeks of symptom logs to find reliable patterns. Keep logging daily.

I subscribed but Premium is locked

Open the Premium screen and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the correct Apple ID.

Where do I find the Premium subscription?

Tap any Premium prompt inside the app - on the Insights dashboard or the report screen - to open the subscription screen with the Monthly ($7.99) and Annual ($49.99) options.

Does my health data leave my phone?

No. Apple Health data is read-only and analysed on-device; nothing is sent to us.
