Subscriptions & billing

RenalPaw is free to start, with an optional RenalPaw Pro subscription. The available plans are:

RenalPaw Pro Monthly - $5.99/month, with a 7-day free trial
RenalPaw Pro Yearly - $39.99/year, with a 7-day free trial

The free tier includes unlimited subQ fluid and medication logging, lab entry and recent history. Pro unlocks multi-caregiver sync, full history and IRIS trends, the clinical report and the AI recheck brief.

Where to find Pro in the app: Tap any locked feature or the Upgrade prompt (for example when inviting a caregiver or opening the recheck brief) to open the subscription screen with the Monthly and Yearly options.

Manage or cancel your subscription

Restore a purchase (e.g. on a new device): open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the Apple ID you subscribed with.

All payments and renewals are handled by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Logging subQ fluids

Open the Fluids tab, choose the volume, confirm the injection site (RenalPaw suggests the next site in the rotation), and tap Start. The session logs in seconds, silently and one-handed, and auto-saves as a draft even if a call interrupts you.

Labs & IRIS staging

Enter each lab panel under the Labs tab. RenalPaw charts creatinine, SDMA and phosphorus over time and shows an IRIS stage estimate from your values - always to confirm with your vet, never as a diagnosis.

Inviting a caregiver

With RenalPaw Pro, you can invite a partner or pet-sitter through a private iCloud share so everyone sees the same fluids, meds and labs. Sharing happens within Apple's iCloud, not our servers; you can stop sharing anytime.

Your data & iCloud

Records and photos sync through your own private iCloud (CloudKit) - we run no server that stores them. To erase everything, delete the app and its iCloud data. See our Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting

The AI recheck brief will not generate

Brief generation needs an internet connection and Sign in with Apple. If you have already generated one this calendar month, the next becomes available next month.

A caregiver can't see our cat's data

Make sure both of you are signed into iCloud with iCloud Drive on, and that the invitation has been accepted. Sharing requires RenalPaw Pro.

My data is not syncing between devices

Make sure both devices are signed into the same iCloud account with iCloud Drive on.

I subscribed but Pro is locked

Open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the Apple ID you used to subscribe.

What is IRIS staging?

IRIS (International Renal Interest Society) staging is how vets grade feline kidney disease from values like creatinine and SDMA. RenalPaw estimates a stage from the labs you enter, always to confirm with your vet - it is informational, not a diagnosis.

Is RenalPaw veterinary advice?

No. RenalPaw records your own observations and surfaces them against published reference thresholds. Diagnosis, staging and treatment always belong to your veterinarian.

What do I need to run RenalPaw?

An iPhone on iOS 17 or later, and an iCloud account for sync and caregiver sharing.
