Subscriptions & billing

Frost is free to use, with an optional Frost Premium subscription. The available plans are:

Frost Premium Monthly - $7.99/month, with a 1-month free trial
Frost Premium Yearly - $49.99/year, with a 1-month free trial

Where to find Frost Premium in the app: Open Frost and tap any Premium prompt - for example on the Insights tab or the Report export button - to open the subscription screen with the Monthly and Yearly options.

Manage or cancel your subscription

Restore a previous purchase (e.g. on a new device)

All payments and renewals are handled by Apple through your Apple ID. Refund requests are also handled by Apple - visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your data & privacy

Your episodes are stored on your device and, if you enable iCloud, sync through your own private iCloud (we never see it). To capture weather and send cold alerts, only your approximate location is sent to OpenWeather.

To remove your data, simply delete the app from your device. To remove iCloud data, also delete it from your iCloud settings. You can export a PDF from the Report tab. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting

I'm not getting cold-weather alerts

Make sure notifications are enabled (Settings → Frost → Notifications), location is set to "While Using the App", and you've set a temperature threshold in the app's alert settings.

Weather isn't recording on my episodes

Frost needs location and an internet connection to fetch weather. Check Settings → Frost → Location.

My data isn't syncing between devices

Make sure both devices are signed into the same iCloud account with iCloud Drive enabled.

Where do I find the Premium subscription?

Tap any Premium prompt inside the app - on the Insights tab or the Report tab - to open the subscription screen with the Monthly ($7.99) and Yearly ($49.99) options.

Can Frost diagnose Raynaud's?

No. Frost is a personal tracking tool, not a medical device, and its alerts are a helpful aid, not a guarantee.
