Terms of Use

The agreement between you and us about using AimCue.

Last updated 31 July 2026

1. What AimCue is

AimCue is a training and analysis tool for cue sports. You photograph a table, confirm the layout, and the app simulates candidate shots and reports what it found: an aiming point, a tip position, a force, the path the balls take and a measured success rate for a player of the level you selected.

2. What its suggestions are, and are not

Every suggestion is the output of a physics simulation of the layout you confirmed. If the balls on screen do not match the balls on the table, the answer will not match either, which is why the app asks you to confirm before it calculates.

A success percentage describes simulated attempts with hand noise appropriate to the skill level you chose. It is a comparison between shots, not a forecast of your next one. Cloth condition, humidity, equipment and your own stroke on the day are not part of the model.

Rule summaries in the app are references. Where they differ from the published rules of the UMB, the WPA, the WPBSA or the rules in force at your table, those rules govern, not AimCue.

3. Fair use in competition

Many tournaments and leagues restrict outside assistance during a match. Whether you may use AimCue at a given table is between you, your opponent and the governing rules of that event. We take no position and accept no responsibility for a decision made against you for using it.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

AimCue offers a free tier and a paid tier, AimCue Pro. Purchases are processed by Apple and governed by your App Store account terms.

5. Your content

The photographs you use and the positions you save are yours. They stay on your device and we claim no rights over them, because we never receive them.

6. Acceptable use

Do not decompile or reverse engineer the app, resell access to it, or present its output as your own product. Use it to play better.

7. Disclaimer and liability

AimCue is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost matches, lost wagers, disputes at the table, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer law where you live.

8. Changes and contact

These terms may change as the app develops; material changes will be reflected here with a new date. Questions: customer-care@velorahealth.io.
