Plain terms for a wardrobe app. Using Wearomancy means accepting them.

Wearomancy is an iPhone app that suggests an outfit from clothes you have told it you own, using the forecast for a city you type in, and can render a preview of those pieces on a body. It is a styling and organisation tool. It is not advice of any professional kind.
The rendered look shows how the pieces read together on a body. It is a style and composition preview. It is not a fitting: it does not recommend a size, guarantee how a fabric will drape, or measure anything about you. Do not buy a size on the strength of a render.
Renders are generated by an image model. Models get things wrong. If a render looks incorrect, it is, and the garment in your hand is the authority.
The Eastern element and Western chart readings are reflective and cultural framing for a colour and a mood. They are entertainment in the ordinary sense of the word: they do not predict events, they carry no claim of accuracy, and no decision that matters should rest on them. They are optional and can be switched off without affecting anything else.
There is no account, so there is nothing to keep secure and nothing for us to suspend. The other side of that is that your wardrobe exists on one iPhone. If you lose the device or delete the app, the data goes with it, and we cannot restore it because we never had it. Use the export in the You tab.
When you import a piece from a shop link, the product photo and details belong to the retailer or the brand. The app keeps the source link as attribution and shows it on the piece. That material is in your closet for your own private use. It is not yours to republish, redistribute or use commercially, and nothing in the app gives you a licence to do so.
Photographs you take of your own clothes are yours. We claim no rights over them and, as the privacy page sets out, we do not keep them.
Wearomancy may offer an optional subscription, Wearomancy Plus, covering the parts of the app that cost real money to run, principally try-on rendering. Nothing is on sale as of the date at the top of this page. If and when it is, any payment is processed by Apple and governed by your App Store account terms, the price and renewal period are shown in the app before you are charged, and a subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in your App Store settings. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us.
Each render occupies a GPU for a while, so we ask you not to automate the app, script bulk requests, or resell access to rendering. We may rate limit or refuse requests that look automated, and we may put a fair use ceiling on any unlimited tier, which would be stated where the tier is sold.
The app is provided as it is. We do not warrant that a suggestion will suit you, that a retailer's page will import, that a render will be convincing, or that the service will be uninterrupted. Retailers change their sites and block automated fetches, and the app will sometimes fail to read a page for that reason.
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid for the app in the twelve months before a claim, which for most people is nothing. Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
