Subscriptions & billing

PawBreeze is free to start, with an optional PawBreeze Pro subscription. The available plans are:

PawBreeze Pro Monthly - $5.99/month, with a 7-day free trial
PawBreeze Pro Yearly - $29.99/year, with a 7-day free trial

The free tier includes the unlimited breathing counter and attack log, CSV export and iCloud backup. Pro unlocks the action-plan zones, the inhaler scheduler, inventory and taper, the Night Listener, trends and the AI brief.

Where to find Pro in the app: Tap any locked zone or feature or the Upgrade prompt (for example on the inhaler or Night Listener screens) to open the subscription screen with the Monthly and Yearly options.

Manage or cancel your subscription

Restore a purchase (e.g. on a new device): open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the Apple ID you subscribed with.

All payments and renewals are handled by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Counting your cat's breaths

Count while your cat is fully asleep, in a calm room. One breath is one rise and fall of the chest. The counter is silent and works in the dark; PawBreeze maps the result to a green, yellow or red zone with what to do next, and saves it automatically even if you are interrupted.

The Night Listener

The optional Night Listener classifies sounds on-device while your cat sleeps and logs the time of cough-like events. It never records or uploads audio - only a timestamp and a confidence score. Turn it on or off anytime; it needs microphone permission to run.

Inhaler sessions & your data

Schedule and log inhaler sessions, track inventory and follow a taper. Everything syncs through your own private iCloud (CloudKit), and CSV export is always free. To erase everything, delete the app and its iCloud data. See our Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting

The Night Listener isn't catching anything

Allow microphone access in Settings > PawBreeze, keep the phone near where your cat sleeps and plugged in, and remember it only flags cough-like sound events - not every sound.

The AI brief will not generate

Brief generation needs an internet connection and Sign in with Apple. If you have already generated one this calendar month, the next becomes available next month.

My data is not syncing between devices

Make sure both devices are signed into the same iCloud account with iCloud Drive on.

I subscribed but Pro is locked

Open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the Apple ID you used to subscribe.
Frequently asked

Does the Night Listener record my home?

No. It classifies sounds on-device and stores only a timestamp and confidence score for cough-like events. No audio is ever recorded, saved or uploaded.

Is PawBreeze veterinary advice?

No. PawBreeze surfaces your own logged data and the plan you build with your vet. Diagnosis and medication decisions belong to your veterinarian.

What do I need to run PawBreeze?

An iPhone on iOS 17 or later, and an iCloud account for sync.
